Located in one of the most beautiful spots in the south of Madeira, amidst the tranquil villa district of Caniço de Baixo, and perched about 30 meters above the sea, is the Sentido Galomar. The bay is just approximately 2.5 km from the centre of Caniço and is situated on the side of the island blessed with a favourable climate. The unique location right by the sea provides the perfect backdrop for your holiday in Madeira. The centre of Funchal is about 12 km away, and the airport about 8 km.

Enjoy the rich breakfast buffet at the "Atlantis" restaurant. With half board, the evening buffet is served at the "Ondamar" restaurant with terrace in Sentido Galosol (approx. 50 m). In the evening, there is also the option to enjoy traditional Madeiran cuisine at the à la carte "Atlantis" restaurant and Italian cuisine at the pizzeria (at an additional cost). With full board, enjoy a lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert) at the "Blue Bar" in Galosol. Fresh drinks are available at the pool bar and the "Capoeira Bar" with a great view of the sea. Also available are local, organic, lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian cuisine. Vegan cuisine upon request.

Relax by the sea water outdoor pool and on the sun terrace as well as in the wellness area with two panoramic saunas (Finnish and Bio) overlooking the sea, infrared cabin, and steam bath. The neighbouring sister hotel Sentido Galosol also features another outdoor pool with sun terrace, an indoor pool (about 28°C), and two more saunas. Additionally, the resort's own bathing bay in the underwater nature reserve with its own sea access, the sea water pool, and the adults-only area (accessible by lift or stairs) are freely accessible to all resort guests.

The Ashoka Spa (about 400 sqm, open daily), inspired by nature and the five elements, offers a variety of massages, beauty and energy treatments and was chosen as one of the top 3 spas in the 'Green Spa' category at the Spa Star Awards 2019.

In the professional Fitness Club Galo Active (in the neighbouring Sentido Galosol) on approximately 2,500 sqm, you have access to cardio and strength equipment. You can also book a qualified personal trainer on site (for a fee, about €45 per hour). Additionally, you have the opportunity to participate in the sports programme with about 48 classes per week, e.g., Zumba, Step, Spinning, Pilates, Yoga, or Nordic Walking (some for a small fee). There is also a sports hall, squash, a volleyball court, and a basketball court (reservable on request, for a fee). A tennis court is located outside the complex in the nearby area (about 500 m, for a fee).

On-site diving base with diving school (approx. March-December), own mountain bike station, kayak rental, canyoning, swimming with dolphins, and other outdoor activities are available for booking. Moreover, Madeira is a magnificent hiking paradise and is ideal for extensive hikes.

A bus stop is located about 100 meters from the hotel, and the Madeira Aquapark is about 15 km away.
