In the southwest of Sri Lanka, in the coastal town of Bentota and right on the beach, the family-run Amal Beach Hotel offers pure relaxation with views of the protected sandy beach and palm meadow. Experience culinary highlights in the open specialty restaurant, and enjoy relaxing treatments at the sister hotel, Amal Villa. The Amal Beach Hotel is ideal for couples where one person wishes to undergo an Ayurveda therapy while the other travels as a companion without therapy.

Adjacent to the Amal Beach Hotel is the "Amal Restaurant", renowned especially for its seafood specialties (at an additional cost). Here, you can enjoy your breakfast, while lunch and dinner are served as a 3-course set menu. The open-air restaurant, with sea view and open to non-hotel guests as well, serves across two floors, in the garden, and on the beach. Ingredients for the Sri Lankan, Indian, and international menus and à la carte dishes are sourced from the local market or directly from local fishermen. A candlelight dinner on the beach is also available once a week (included for stays of 14 nights or more). For Ayurveda guests, meals are specially prepared according to the doctor's instructions.

Step into the Amal Ayurvedic, SPA & Yoga Center, constructed from clay, featuring two Ayurvedic doctors and a skilled team of therapists. Simply cross Galle Road and enter the sister property, Amal Villa, where four treatment rooms await. Alternatively, enjoy treatments in the garden, enhanced by beautiful views and a gentle breeze. Your daily Ayurvedic treatments, tailored to your treatment plan, may include herbal oil massages, Nasya sinus cleansing, Shirodhara forehead oil flow, inhalation, acupuncture, and Ayurvedic sauna. Yoga and meditation are included for therapy guests, and available for a fee for non-therapy stays. Manicure and pedicure services are also available (for a fee).

Guests are welcome to use the infinity pool at the sister hotel, Amal Villa, complete with loungers and umbrellas. Relax in the garden, home to a stunning array of birdlife, or take a stroll along the extensive fine sandy beach. Leisure activities (for a fee) include shopping trips to Bentota, cooking classes, boat tours on the Bentota River, water skiing, parasailing, excursions to the Sinharaja Rainforest, Udawalawe National Park, or Galle.
