The Amandro Resort is nestled in the lush greenery of southern Sri Lanka in Beruwala, surrounded by a tropical garden landscape near a tributary of the Bentota River. The miles-long sandy beach of the Indian Ocean is just a few minutes away. The surroundings offer an authentic Sri Lankan experience, complete with small temples, tropical vegetation, and traditional villages.

In the open restaurant of the resort, guests relish freshly prepared Ayurvedic dishes (served as a set menu or buffet, depending on occupancy), tailored to individual doshas and personal treatment plans. The cuisine blends traditional Sri Lankan Ayurvedic recipes with light, digestible food, using fresh, local ingredients. Vegetarian Ayurvedic dishes, herbal teas, and nourishing meals that support detox, rejuvenation, and inner balance are served. A special highlight is the new outdoor Ayurvedic show kitchen, where cooking classes are regularly held, allowing guests to learn the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition.

The Ayurveda Center at Amandro Resort combines traditional healing arts with a serene, personal atmosphere. The lovingly designed therapy and wellness area, located above the restaurant, provides ideal conditions for sustainable regeneration. Guests have access to 7 treatment rooms, herbal and steam baths, a relaxation hall with loungers, an Ayurveda tea bar, and a separate room for medical consultations. The facility is complemented by a yoga and meditation hall. Two qualified Ayurveda doctors and an experienced team of therapists provide medical care. The doctors are available 24/7 and create a personalized therapy and nutrition plan for each guest. The treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation including pulse diagnosis, health check, and dosha determination. A personal treatment plan is then developed. Depending on the health condition, guests receive daily 3 to 5 customized treatments with a total duration of about two hours. These include full-body oil massages, herbal treatments, steam treatments, forehead oil pours, as well as detox and regeneration treatments. For an additional fee, acupuncture, medically indicated special treatments - for example, for chronic diseases - and herbal medicine for home use are also offered. Yoga, meditation, Qi Gong, and Ayurvedic nutrition complement these services to holistically balance body, mind, and soul.

Beyond the treatments, Amandro Resort offers numerous opportunities for relaxation and inspiration. The tropical garden, complete with a pavilion, lounge area, and pool, is perfect for reading, meditating, or resting. In the library, guests will find books and games, and a billiard table is also available. Regular sessions of yoga, meditation, and Qi Gong are offered. For those spiritually inclined, lectures, mantra singing, and Ayurvedic cooking classes enhance the experience.
