Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort in Detail

Your Yoga & Wellness Hotel

The 2023 "Best Luxury Wellness Hotel Asia" award-winning hotel combines luxury and mindfulness in a unique way. The name "Gdas" stands for "Govinda Das", which translates to "service to the Divine" and embodies the philosophy of the resort, where yoga is practiced not just on the mat, but in every moment. The holistic programmes harmonise body, mind, and soul. Fresh medicinal plants from the hotel's own garden enhance both the spa treatments and the vegan gourmet meals. Overlooking lush green rice fields, you can deepen your practice in the sunlit Yoga Shala and absorb the peaceful atmosphere of Bali. Gdas Bali stands for mindfulness and a deep connection with nature. At the same time, the resort embraces sustainable values reflected in every detail. Allow yourself to be enchanted by the unique energy of this place and rejuvenate in an oasis of calm and harmony.

Location & Surroundings

Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali, is renowned for its stunning nature and picturesque landscapes. Surrounded by lush rice fields, dense jungle, and gentle hills, Ubud offers a unique setting that caters to both relaxation and adventure. Visitors can explore the famous Tegallalang rice terraces, which provide an idyllic backdrop with their verdant tiers. For nature enthusiasts, there are numerous hiking and cycling trails that wind through the jungle, showcasing the region's rich flora and fauna. Ubud is also celebrated for its spiritual retreats and workshops that integrate yoga, meditation, and Balinese healing arts. The town also boasts a vibrant art scene with galleries, traditional markets, and the renowned Ubud Monkey Forest.

Dining & Leisure

The Tangi Restaurant, nestled amidst the tropical jungle, offers top-notch vegan soul food that nourishes both body and mind. Inspired by the healing herb Usadha, Tangi combines organic ingredients with health benefits in every bite. Under the guidance of an experienced chef, creative plant-based dishes are crafted, reflecting Balinese culinary culture. Local ingredients from the garden are blended with carefully selected products to provide an exceptional culinary experience. Dishes like loloh, jamu, and piduh salad reconnect guests with the roots of Balinese nutrition. Enjoy vibrant, healthy dishes that stimulate the senses and invite a conscious lifestyle.

Wellness & Spa

The Arana Spa harnesses the natural energy of Bali to offer exclusive treatments based on the traditional Usadha-Bali philosophy. This philosophy integrates the wisdom of herbal medicine, meditation practices, and spiritual rituals to promote physical and mental health through inner harmony. Enjoy therapies including cold therapy for muscle relaxation, pain relief, and skin tightening, as well as oxygen therapy that enhances overall vitality and elevates your well-being to a new level. Additionally, this unique spa offers wellness therapies such as colonic hydrotherapy and salt therapy, specifically aimed at detoxifying the body, rejuvenating the skin, and strengthening the immune system.

The spa facility includes a range of amenities, such as single and couples treatment rooms, a herbal laboratory, various saunas, a whirlpool, a salt cave, and a traditional bathhouse. A warm pool that contributes to pain relief completes the offerings, ensuring an even more profound relaxation experience.

The hotel features a fitness centre.

Yoga

The Yoga Shala is a magical space surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Ubud, with breathtaking views of rice fields and jungle.
