Your Wellness Hotel
The partially renovated in 2023, Hotel Botánico is tranquilly situated on the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz, at the foot of Mount Teide, close to the Botanical Garden. A generous, subtropical park with a pond (about 25,000 sqm) surrounds the hotel in the La Paz villa district. With the hotel's own shuttle bus, you can easily reach the nearby sandy beach (4 times in the morning and 4 times in the afternoon, about 1.5 km away, approximately a 10-minute walk). The hotel is certified multiple times for its commitment to sustainability and is annually reviewed.
Location & Surroundings
The north of Tenerife offers pleasantly mild spring temperatures all year round. Lush vegetation, volcanic landscapes, and views of Mount Teide characterise the surroundings. Puerto de la Cruz is a vibrant town offering numerous leisure activities such as Loro Parque with its zoo and amusement park. The old town of Puerto de la Cruz, with its narrow streets, cafes, and quaint shops, is also worth a visit.
Dining & Leisure
The breakfast buffet featuring fresh dishes is served at "Palmera Real" with both indoor and outdoor seating. With half board, enjoy a three-course à la carte dinner at one of the four specialty restaurants: international cuisine at "Palmera Real", Italian/Mediterranean at "Il Papagallo", Asian delights at "The Oriental", or Spanish cuisine at "La Parrilla". Optionally, dinner can be exchanged for lunch at "Palmera Real".
The "Healthy Eating" option places a strong emphasis on nutritious dining. Children's menus and Ayurvedic cuisine are available upon request.
Additionally, Hotel Botánico boasts a bar with live music and a pool bar.
"Brunelli's" Steakhouse is located in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz by the water. A complimentary shuttle is available to take you to the restaurant upon request.
Wellness & Spa
Discover pure relaxation at The Oriental Spa Garden (approx. 3,500 sqm, access from 16 years, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) featuring 20 treatment rooms, an indoor pool, and a heated outdoor pool with hydromassage, outdoor whirlpool, Japanese sauna, Turkish bath, Laconium, ice cave, sensorial showers, aromatherapy area, and relaxation zones with water beds. Qualified therapists blend traditional rituals and ancient knowledge with modern technology. Massages are available both in the indoor treatment rooms and in outdoor cabanas.
For a fee, the hotel offers the following services: Personal training, private spa for couples, hydromassage, baths, various massages including outdoor oriental massages such as Shiatsu, Thai, Reiki, as well as beauty treatments (including hairdressing, manicure, pedicure) with products from Maria Galland, Thalgo, CV, Jeevan Ayurveda, and Sothys.
Ayurveda
The Ayurveda master has acquired her training and knowledge from renowned Ayurveda masters, including at the Academy of Ayurveda in India. With over 15 years of practice, she also trains new Ayurveda therapists. The international team of therapists she supports in her daily work has completed their training under her guidance and received their diplomas. Ayurvedic meals and personalised Ayurvedic treatments (according to Dosha Pitta, Vata, Kapha) with original Indian oils, massages, and much more are offered during the Ayurveda week. Yoga and meditation exercises are also integral parts of the Ayurveda week.

Fitness room equipped with modern equipment. Additionally, fitness classes are available, and a Yoga Master offers yoga courses and retreats.
Pool Area
Enjoy delightful hours of sunshine at the heated outdoor pool (approx. 24°C) with sun loungers and umbrellas. Additionally, you can use the indoor and outdoor pools in the spa area (from 16 years old).
Free Time
The hotel boasts 2 tennis courts (modernised, artificial grass with quartz sand) with floodlights and its own putting green (approximately 5,000 sqm) with bunker (complimentary use, subject to availability). Additionally, there is a table tennis table and an animation programme is offered (subject to availability, charges may apply). Nearby are also the El Penon Golf Club (about 15 mins) and the 18-hole Buenavista Golf Course (about 40 mins), with green fee discounts. Luxury boutique, business centre, and on-site car rental. Table tennis and billiards at the hotel. Diving school, mountain biking, paragliding, and surfing nearby.
Heated children's pool. Botánico Adventure Academy for children (ages 4-15) with a play programme in collaboration with Loro Parque, available daily from 1 July to 31 August, prices and details on request, as well as babysitting services.
Hiking paradise Tenerife: Guided hikes with various difficulty levels can be booked at the hotel, for example, to Mount Teide or through the beautiful heather and laurel forests.
The hotel is happy to assist in organising leisure activities and excursions, such as arranging a wine tasting or a city tour.

All rooms feature a terrace or balcony, bath or shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, individually controlled air conditioning, minibar, smart TV, telephone, coffee/tea set, Wi-Fi, and safe. On floors 1 to 4, the Deluxe rooms accommodate up to 2 guests and the Ambassador Suites (approx. 60 sqm) with a living area for up to 3 guests. The Superior rooms have been recently renovated and are fitted with parquet flooring. Dog-friendly rooms or smoking or family rooms (2 Deluxe rooms with connecting door) for up to 2 adults and 2 children are available on request. Additional suites, such as the Senator Suite, are also available on request. SGL are DB rooms for single use. 3 lifts.
