Your Accommodation

The outdoor areas of Kleebauer Hof offer opportunities for retreat and tranquility. The region, known as the Mühlviertler Granite Highlands, is filled with energy spots, elevated viewpoints, and hiking trails. The popular 'Mühltalrunde' trail passes right by the hotel, winding through spruce forests, small streams, and meadow landscapes. The Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center includes extensive forests, partly spruce, partly mixed woods. Recharge your energy directly from the powerful trees, sharpen your senses on a forest walk – nature lies at your feet here. On the on-site Chakra Circular Path, there is much to learn about the world of chakras. From the natural swimming pond, the view sweeps into the distance to the gently rolling landscape of the Mühlviertel. For well-being, there is a sauna and a selection of massages.

Location & Surroundings

The Mühlviertel is renowned for its gentle rolling hills and is among Austria's most popular hiking regions. There are 90 hiking areas around Rohrbach, offering various levels of difficulty.

Dining & Leisure

The breakfast buffet includes bread, jams, cheese, porridge, fruit, various types of milk, yoghurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and various teas. At 2 p.m., there is soup and spreads. The evening buffet features vegetarian dishes, a vegan dish, and salad. Twice a week, meat/fish is available. Water and tea are available all day for free. Other drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are available for a fee on site. Lactose-free and gluten-free diets can be accommodated upon request.

Yoga

The open yoga programme consists of two daily yoga sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours. The yoga times are before breakfast (around 7:30 a.m.) and before dinner (around 4:30 p.m.), allowing ample time for daytime activities such as hiking or excursions in the surrounding area. The yoga sessions are suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners – no prior knowledge is necessary. Exact times will be announced on site. The programme starts with the afternoon yoga session on the day of arrival and ends with the morning yoga session and breakfast on the day of departure. Yoga mats are available, but you are also welcome to bring your own.

Kleebauer Animal World

The Kleebauer Farm is home to many four-legged friends. A (usually enamoured) pony pair, a band of furry noses, and the alpaca group demonstrate how Dolce Vita works. Unlike the two porcupines, who are often on the hunt for food and turn night into day with their nocturnal activities. During yoga, it's not uncommon for one of the farm cats to join in. In the summer, a group of horses can also be admired in the large meadow in front of the hotel.

Free Time

The 90 km long Granite Pilgrim's Path passes close to the hotel. A walk to the Danube (6 km away) and a trip to the Schlögener Loop are highlights of the stay. Other popular leisure activities in the region include mountain biking, Nordic walking, and in winter, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Hotel rooms at a glance

You will stay at the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center. The region's typical four-sided courtyard with a cosy inner courtyard includes the rooms, a guest lounge, and seminar rooms. In the former grain store (Troadhaus), there is another guest room with kitchen/living area. The 28 rooms are decorated in a rural style and are equipped with private shower/WC and hairdryer. The views are either of the courtyard or the countryside. The entire hotel is non-smoking, with a smoking corner available. All rooms are deliberately kept free of TVs.

Head and thoughts cleared, heart wide again, body and mind strengthened! Yoga in a wonderful and loving environment. The Kleebauerhof is a magical place. I will definitely be back!

From the food to the room, the landscape and the animals, it was all great, relaxing, but also exhausting. Everyone was welcoming and I felt very comfortable
