Le Méridien Ile Maurice is located on a 1 km long white sandy beach in the sheltered bay of Pointe-aux-Piments. The resort is suitable for both families and couples. It features an exclusive adults-only area with three different room categories, a private reception area, breakfast buffet, and infinity pool area.

Pointe aux Piments is just about 9 miles from Grand Baie, a vibrant coastal town with numerous shopping and nightlife options. The international airport is approximately 37 miles away, ensuring a comfortable journey to and from the resort. The capital city, Port Louis, is about a 25-minute drive away. As the economic and cultural hub with one of the busiest ports in the Indian Ocean, the city impresses with its diverse cultural mix. This includes traditional Chinese architecture, the Jummah Mosque, Tamil temples, and the Anglican Cathedral of Saint James. A visit to the central market is also worthwhile: here, you'll find a wide selection of fresh foods, textiles, and souvenirs. The famous Botanical Garden is another highlight, offering tranquil walks.

The resort boasts four restaurants offering international, Mauritian, Indian, and Asian cuisine. The "Nomad" is the main restaurant and features a terrace with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Here, guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet and, if half board is booked, dinner as well. The Indian restaurant "Kumin" opens in the evening and serves authentic Indian dishes such as aromatic curries and classic tandoori dishes with bold, soothing flavours. The "Waves" is the resort's beachfront restaurant. Light dishes are served at lunch, and in the evening, the restaurant transforms into a seafood grill with Indian Ocean delicacies, enhanced with island spices and regional products. The "Jade" offers Asian fusion cuisine inspired by the flavours of Japan, Thailand, and Cambodia. The resort also features three bar areas, one of which is in the Nirvana Adults-only section, each offering a unique atmosphere to celebrate and enjoy social moments with family and friends.

The resort offers three outdoor pools with sun loungers and umbrellas, including a separate adults-only pool exclusively for guests of the Nirvana rooms. At the Explore Spa, you will find treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, plunge pool, and a relaxation area. The offer is complemented by massages and beauty and Ayurveda treatments. For active guests, a 24-hour fitness center is available. A yoga deck also invites you to yoga sessions in a tranquil atmosphere.

Guests have access to a variety of complimentary activities, including kayaking, pedal boating, snorkeling, water skiing, water aerobics, and rides on the glass-bottom boat (weather dependent). The Le Méridien Kids Club (ages 4-12) is located right on the beach overlooking the lagoon and is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Babysitting is available on request and for a fee.
