Natural Paradise Ayurclinic Eco Resort in Detail

Your Ayurveda Resort

The Natural Paradise Ayurclinic Eco Resort is nestled in a serene valley on the border between Maharashtra and Goa, surrounded by subtropical greenery, cultivated plantations, and fruit and vegetable gardens. A river meanders through the valley, while a natural swimming pool invites you to swim and relax. The entire property has been ecologically constructed following Indian Vedic architectural principles, respecting the elements of sun, rain, wind, and earth. The atmosphere is calm, pristine, and deliberately simple. Seating and lounging areas in nature, along with a terrace, provide opportunities to retreat and slow down the day. The Natural Paradise consciously embraces simplicity, connection with nature, and digital detox. The substantial reduction of internet use and ideally no more than one hour of mobile phone use per day helps distance from digital life, reduce stress, and allows guests to fully focus on the Ayurveda therapy, nature, and personal well-being. This reduction defines the character of the place and creates space to fully engage with the Ayurveda therapy and oneself.

Location & Surroundings

The Natural Paradise Ayurclinic Eco Resort is located in the west of India, on the border between Maharashtra and Goa. The region is part of the Sahyadri mountain range, which is a segment of the Western Ghats. The seclusion is a key aspect of the concept: instead of a beach holiday, the tranquility of nature is the focus here. The drive from Goa Airport takes about 90 to 120 minutes.

Dining & Leisure

Nutrition is a vital component and is tailored to the body's needs during the treatment phase. All meals are freshly prepared on-site, using as many ingredients from our own cultivation as possible. This ensures fresh, regional, and seasonal food is served directly from the surroundings. Three meals a day are served, prepared according to Ayurvedic principles and catering to the different constitutional types Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The diet supports the holistic approach of the treatments and accompanies the body throughout the entire therapy course. Vegan and lactose-free options are available upon request. Throughout the day, warm water and various Ayurvedic teas are available. Meal times may vary: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. (breakfast), 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (lunch) & 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (dinner). If you arrive at the resort late at night or very early in the morning, you can ask for food at the reception.

Ayurveda Center

At the heart of our offerings are traditional Panchakarma and rejuvenation treatments based on the classical knowledge of Ayurveda. Each therapy is tailored to your personal constitution, health status, and needs, incorporating Nadi diagnostics and the traditional Ayurveda therapy system. The treatments are personally supervised by Dr. Rohit Borcar and conducted by experienced Ayurveda therapists. The Ayurveda Center has 2 doctors and 5 therapists available. The doctors can be reached from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Special attention is also given to traditional rituals that calm the mind and body. For example, water is traditionally heated in a copper pot and then used for a soothing bath. Heating in the copper vessel enriches the water with valuable minerals that contribute to relaxation and body regeneration. There are 2-3 intermediate consultations per week by the doctor. The treatments last about 90 minutes daily. Following the treatment, a soothing steam bath is usually provided. Afterwards, you have about 30 to 60 minutes for rest and recovery before the final cleansing. To optimally support the effects of the treatments, it is recommended to rest for up to two hours afterwards and avoid using air conditioning. An important part of the therapy is the daily yoga practice (Hatha, Yin, Ivengar, Nidra, Aerial, Meditation & Pranayama). Yoga is an integral part of the program during your stay and starts every morning, including Sundays, at 7:00 a.m. If certain exercises are not suitable due to your physical condition, the yoga instructor will discuss this with you and show you appropriate alternatives. Each therapy concludes with a final consultation, highlighting the necessary and sensible practices that can be integrated at home. Women are treated by female therapists and men by male therapists.

Pool Area

A natural pool awaits you, filled with natural river water. The unprocessed water offers a soothing alternative to conventional chlorinated pool water. Surrounded by the natural landscape, the pool invites you to refresh, unwind, and enjoy the soothing connection with nature.

Maharashtra is renowned for some of India's most significant historical sites, including the Ellora and Ajanta Caves, which are UNESCO World Heritage sites famous for their centuries-old rock reliefs and Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain temples. The region is also a hub for spiritual and religious sites, such as the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple or the pilgrimage site Shani Shingnapur, known for its "sacred" rock without doors. Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival honouring the elephant god Ganesha, is celebrated here with great devotion, transforming entire cities into colourful, festive worlds. Diwali, the festival of lights, and Gudi Padwa, the Marathi New Year, are also significant events in the region. For nature lovers, Maharashtra offers breathtaking landscapes. The Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, invite hiking and trekking adventures, while the Sahyadri Mountains with their picturesque waterfalls like the Devkund Falls or the Kune Falls are captivating.
