The NaturMed Hotel Carbona is quietly and centrally located approximately 500 m from the thermal lake, set in a 4.6 ha Mediterranean park with a Feng-Shui garden.

Dining & Leisure

The hotel offers a wide range of culinary delights from Hungarian and international cuisine. In the evenings, a lavish buffet is available, while both buffet and à la carte options are offered at lunchtime. The hotel is committed to accommodating special dietary needs, including vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free, wholefood, and slimming diets (approx. 1,000 kcal). Additionally, various diet options are available. You can also indulge in the hotel's bars and cafes.

Wellness & Spa

Spanning approximately 1,500 square metres, our wellness area is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is accessible to non-hotel guests for a fee. It offers a plethora of facilities for relaxation and rejuvenation, including an on-site thermal spring and a medicinal water pool (daily water change, water temperature about 97°F), a Roman-style thermal pool (about 93°F, accessible until 6 p.m.), an indoor pool (about 82 x 41 feet, about 79°F), a thermal wellness indoor pool (about 90°F) with massage jets, a Kneipp pool, and whirlpools. The entire area is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, which in summer also features a junior pool and an adventure outdoor pool (about 66 x 41 feet, about 90-91°F) with bubble zones and an adjacent sunbathing lawn.
A unique sauna oasis with breathtaking interior architecture and innovative technology awaits you! There is ample space in a Finnish sauna for 30 people (with professional infusions), and for a special wellness experience, there is a bio-sauna, aroma cabin, steam bath, an infrared salt cabin where infrared rays radiate warmth between salt walls, and a tepidarium. For cooling down, there is a plunge pool with ice water, an ice room, and sensorial showers. Additionally, there is a textile sauna and a well-equipped fitness room.

Beauty
The Esteticum Beauty Salon, open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except on Hungarian public holidays), offers a wide range of services. Here you will find products from renowned brands such as mySPIRIT Skincare, Kleanthous, and Thal'ion. Available treatments include Vacustyling, Dermato-Diagnostics with state-of-the-art equipment, and Mesotherapy for skin tightening and body shaping. Additionally, Ayurveda is offered, and a L'Oreal hair salon is available for hairdressing services.

Spa area

The therapy area of NaturMed Hotel Carbona spans an expansive 700 square metres and is available to guests from Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Under medical supervision, this area offers a plethora of health services for a fee, including body/health preventive check-ups, functional and energetic body assessments, cardiovascular health checks using an arteriograph, the BioFit test with medical examination including comprehensive diagnostics with electro-acupuncture and foot sole diagnosis (2 hours), and the Spineliner device for diagnosing and simultaneously treating back pain and spinal issues - also suitable for the musculoskeletal system.

A wide range of therapies is also available, including electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and oxygen therapy, as well as specialised treatments such as ionozon, carbon dioxide baths, Stanger baths, hydrogalvan, hydroxeur, tangentor, weight bath, fluoride, sulphur and mud packs, and massages (classic, lava stone, Yumeiho, reflexology, and lymphatic drainage). Additionally, a Sensolite full-body treatment with polarised light is offered to strengthen the skin and immune system, a cryosauna, movement therapy with FLABéLOS® treatments, and a thalasso area. Guests can also access the salt chamber and solarium for additional fees.

Gelencsér Dental Clinic offers guests of NaturMed Hotel Carbona a complimentary dental examination, including free transport to the Gelencsér Dental Clinic in Hévíz.

Fitness & Courses

An extensive sports programme awaits you, featuring morning exercise with music, fit-ball, Pilates, spinal gymnastics to improve posture, , water aerobics with music, aqua training, and playful gymnastics for children.

Free Time

For delightful excursions into the forests and vineyards or to Lake Balaton, e-bikes are available for hire at the hotel. The tours around Hévíz-Keszthely, through the Kis Balaton National Park, and the Szigliget Balaton bike tour are highly recommended.
The Festetics Palace in Keszthely and thus Lake Balaton are only about 3 miles from Hévíz. The castle in Sümeg, approximately 15 miles away, offers knight tournaments and medieval dinners. In the Kis-Balaton Nature Reserve, 14 miles away, with its fascinating birdlife, you can explore with nature park guides, or visit Kányavári Island and follow the grebe educational trail without a guide.

The hotel offers a total of 250 rooms and 10 suites. The room categories include Standard (approx. 215 sq ft), Standard Plus (approx. 237 sq ft), and Superior (approx. 269 sq ft). Both Standard Plus and Superior rooms feature comfort mattresses, while Superior rooms also provide a coffee/tea set. All rooms in the main building (Oriental with round bed and Deluxe, approx. 215 sq ft with capsule machine) have been recently fully renovated. Each room offers a bathroom with either a bathtub or shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, satellite television, telephone, safe, and a balcony. There are also allergy-friendly rooms and a room accessible for disabled guests. Single rooms are double rooms for single use. The hotel has 6 lifts and an internet point.
