Additional services such as special medical consultations (e.g., for heart conditions), acupuncture, tests (e.g., blood, urine tests, X-rays), post-treatment medications, and non-Ayurvedic food and drinks (e.g., soft drinks) are available for a fee on-site.

The Olu Ayurveda Beach Resort is led by two experienced individuals: One of the directors hails from Sri Lanka and brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry along with a deep personal connection to Ayurveda. The other director is a Western doctor with more than 40 years of professional experience who values the philosophy of Ayurveda and has committed to making its health benefits accessible to a wide audience.
