The Santé Royale Rügen Hotel & Health Resort, with direct access to the pristine sandy beach, is located approximately 2 km from the centre of the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren. Located in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Southeast Rügen, the Mönchgut peninsula is surrounded by rugged cliffs and gentle hills, bordered by the sea to the east and the Bodden and Zicker Mountains to the west.

Enjoy a cosy atmosphere in the main restaurant, featuring predominantly regional products. With full board, indulge in a lavish breakfast buffet including an organic section, a vital lunch with snacks, salads, and a soup buffet, afternoon coffee and cake. The dinner arrangement offers a cold/warm starter buffet with daily soup, salads, and desserts. The main course is freshly prepared and served (options include fish, meat, vegetarian, or vegan). Lactose-free or gluten-free meals available upon request. The bar, wine cellar, and garden terrace offer stunning views of the dunes.

The spa and medical wellness area spans approximately 2,000 sqm and includes a therapy pool with bubble benches (approx. 4 x 6 m, approx. 97°F), a whirlpool (approx. 97°F), and an indoor pool (approx. 6 x 13.5 m, approx. 90°F). The generous sauna area features a Finnish sauna with a sea view, a bio-sauna, infrared cabin, steam bath, and a fireplace lounge with a tea bar. The therapy center (Mon-Fri) focuses on active health prevention. The area also includes treatment and massage rooms, a cardio section, and a fitness room.

The programmes for active health prevention focus on three main areas: Relaxation, Cardio, and Body. We offer a variety of individual treatments such as algae, chalk, peat, or Swiss pine packs, lymphatic drainage, BrainLight Shiatsu treatment, VelusJet® massage on a water bed, sand heat loungers, and much more. Group activities like Nordic walking, forest bathing, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, autogenic training, and yoga are also available.
The services provided in the Medical Wellness area reduce health risks and promote future health-oriented actions.

Rügen is famous for its steam-powered narrow-gauge railway, the "Racing Roland", which has been traversing the island since 1895.
