Franzensbad (Františkovy Lázně) is nestled in an idyllic, tranquil setting at the heart of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle, surrounded by the picturesque nature of the Karlovy Vary region and renowned for its long-standing spa tradition. The town itself is interlaced with well-maintained parks that invite you for relaxing walks and rejuvenation amidst greenery. Here, you'll find a perfect balance between nature and historic architecture, preserving the charming ambiance of the 19th century.
Thanks to its proximity to the border, Franzensbad is easily accessible for both Czech and international guests and serves as an attractive destination for those seeking relaxation. The area offers numerous opportunities for hiking and excursions, while the town's serene atmosphere is ideal for a break from everyday life.

Bohemian and international cuisine. Breakfast buffet, for lunch soup, main course (3 menus to choose from) and dessert are served. For dinner, soup, 3 main courses, and a salad buffet are available. (Please communicate any special requests at the time of booking). The hotel features a summer terrace.

Health & Treatments

The therapy department (Mon-Sat, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.) offers a variety of professional treatments conducted by qualified doctors and therapists, supported by a 24-hour nursing service. Treatments include mud, , and paraffin packs (enhance circulation and alleviate pain), pearl, effervescent, and mud baths (aid relaxation and skin regeneration), as well as underwater, hot stone, and classic massages (relieve tension and promote muscle health). Additionally, medicinal gas injections (anti-inflammatory), mechanical lymph drainage (helps eliminate toxins), inhalations (soothe the respiratory tract), and electrotherapy (stimulates the muscles) are available. A drinking therapy (strengthens the body from within) completes the range of services.

Free Time

The surrounding area is perfect for extended hikes and cycling tours, while trails meander through a nature reserve dotted with moorland ponds. Culture enthusiasts can explore the city museum and gallery, or enjoy concerts and theatre performances. Throughout the year, numerous cultural events showcase the city's charm. For excursions, the historic city of Cheb (Eger), with its captivating architecture and history, is an excellent choice. Nearby, the imposing Seeberg Castle invites exploration. Golf enthusiasts will find ideal conditions for a relaxed round at the 18-hole golf course in Hazlov, just 3 miles away.
