Water is included with all meals.

The panoramic "Juice Bar", located between the restaurant and the pool, offers refreshing non-alcoholic beverages and spectacular views. The floating "Boat Bar", accessible via the hotel lagoon, is the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset or the sparkling starry sky. A speedboat transfer ensures easy access. Diving, Snorkelling & Water Activities

The dive centre offers the highest quality standards, professional care, and rental equipment (at an additional cost), as well as access to 20-30 spectacular dive sites, reachable within just 40 minutes by boat. Here, you can marvel at large marine animals such as sharks and mantas, as well as colourful corals and fish. Additionally, eco-friendly marine excursions such as turtle, manta, and dolphin watching are available. A weekly snorkelling trip is complimentary, and there are water sports opportunities including canoeing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and glass-bottom boat rides. All marine excursions are designed to minimise environmental impact while contributing to biodiversity monitoring and economically supporting the local community.

Sustainability

The Barefoot Eco Hotel was awarded the GSTC certification in 2021 for its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable hospitality. The hotel focuses on responsible practices such as using sustainable wood for construction, reducing plastic by using reusable glass bottles, and utilizing renewable energy sources. It operates a garden for fresh fruits and vegetables and supports the local economy and culture by purchasing regional products and engaging in cultural activities. Additionally, the hotel is involved in environmental education, supports the local community, and conducts regular beach and underwater clean-ups.

Free Time

A 15-meter pool overlooking the beach invites you to relax. For activity, there is a gym, a library, board games, a bocce court, beach volleyball, and complimentary bicycles. The stylish boutique offers local crafts, current collections, and an exclusive tailoring service. Two experienced tailors create custom garments according to your wishes and choice of materials, often in a short time.

Three times a week, marine biologists give fascinating biology lectures. Guided bike tours, a visit to the Sultan's Palace of Utheemu, excursions to sandbanks, or a romantic sunset cruise complete the experience. The team is happy to assist with the organization.

A beautiful hotel with simple but tasteful furnishings. Ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet and a little break. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was very tasty. Particularly noteworthy: The yoga teacher also gave the class, even though I was the only participant. An all-round successful vacation!
