Bad Hévíz is located just about 3 miles from Lake Balaton. This renowned spa town is situated right by the Hévíz Thermal Lake. The Ensana Thermal Hévíz Health Spa Hotel (non-smoking) is perched above the Hévíz Lake, just a short walk from both the lake and the town centre.

Breakfast and all main meals from the buffet. Healthy eating - low-calorie with low fat and sugar. Based on Mediterranean cuisine with olive oil, fruits, vegetables, fish, and salad. Harmful cholesterol is reduced and blood sugar levels are regulated.

In the garden, a thermal pool (approx. 7 x 13 m, approx. 34°C, from May to September), a year-round adventure pool (approx. 200 sqm, approx. 29°C) with underwater music and light effects. Indoor swimming pool (approx. 16 x 10 m, approx. 28°C), two thermal pools (approx. 11 x 8 m and 12 x 9 m, approx. 33°C and 37°C). Whirlpool. Renewed sauna area with steam cabin, Finnish sauna, bio-aroma sauna, infrared cabin, sensorial shower, and outdoor log sauna. Sun terrace. Lawn for sunbathing. Barefoot wellness path in the garden. Health & Treatments
A modern and spacious Health Center (Mon-Sat, except on Hungarian public holidays). Specialists, high-quality therapy treatments such as weight baths, mud packs, therapeutic massages and much more. Since 2024, Carboxytherapy has also been offered, also known as CO2 gas insufflation for pain relief, improved circulation, and muscle relaxation. Certification: TÜV Rheinland International Spa Standard, government-recognized Spa Hotel.

The Thermal Lake
Hévíz is home to the world's largest natural biologically active thermal lake, suitable for bathing all year round with temperatures consistently between 25-35°C. The water, emerging from a highly productive thermal spring at over 23°C, contains sulphur, carbon dioxide, calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate, and trace amounts of radon. It is used to treat rheumatic and motor disorders as well as stomach and digestive issues. The constant water flow in the lake acts like a massage, enhancing blood circulation and mobility. In winter, heavy steam forms on the water surface, positively affecting strained vocal cords and breathing. The mud, accumulating up to 7 meters thick on the bottom, can alleviate musculoskeletal pain and stimulate metabolism. Due to its volcanic origin, various minerals dissolved in the lake water combine with slightly radioactive radiation and bioactive healing mud to provide significant relief for chronic pain.

We were only 3 days in Heviz and enjoyed some treatments and it was very pleasant. The water had a good positive effect but also everything else has fit. Friendly staff, only the room service did not work optimally.
