Location & Surroundings

Marienbad – as world-famous as many of its guests - from Franz Kafka to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe to Emperor Franz Joseph. The traditional spa town in a south-facing valley with a mild climate was founded in 1818 by Karl Kaspar Reitenberger, the abbot of the Tepla Abbey, and is rich in mineral springs, natural gases, and peat. The clean air, many forests, and a pleasant altitude create optimal conditions for a spa and relaxation stay.

The hotel restaurant features a summer terrace with a splendid view of the spa colonnade. Hotel ambience was generally good. Unfortunately the Novovirus broke out in the hotel (not in everyone), it only lasted two days. I thought I would get away with it, but on the journey home it still got me, it was terrible and had a negative impact on what was actually a nice vacation. My room was very nice, hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. My only complaint was the food, canteen level. But for a week it wasn't that important to me. I would like to emphasize the arrival and departure, so well organized, I was impressed. All in all, a wonderful trip, thank you very much!

The implementation of the overall Ayurveda concept at the Reitenberger Hotel in Mariánské Lázně is more than successful. We were absolutely fascinated by the food, which was prepared and served with a lot of love and knowledge. The treatments were a dream and the doctors and staff were friendly and professional. Every day a short consultation and the treatments tailored to your well-being. The hotel has a great atmosphere and we will be back.
