The centrovital Hotel is located in Berlin by the Spandauer Lake, on the restored site of the former Schultheiss Brewery, offering a perfect blend of wellness retreat and city break. A bus stop is approximately 100 metres away. The historic Spandau district with its ICE train station and city rail connection to downtown Berlin is just a short walk away. It's ideal for exploring the capital and combining sightseeing with wellness.

Location & Surroundings

The centrovital is located in the Spandau district of Berlin, approximately 12 kilometres west of the city centre. Its prime location on the banks of the Havel River, near Lake Spandau, significantly enhances the hotel's recreational value. Within walking distance are the historic Spandau Old Town with its Renaissance citadel, as well as numerous cafes, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. The area is characterised by tranquil green spaces, the expansive Spandau Forest, and the riverside promenade – perfect for walks, cycling, and sports activities. Especially in the summer months, the region offers a diverse programme of events, including the Spandau Havel Run, open-air concerts at the citadel, and the traditional Christmas market in the Old Town.

Dining & Leisure

At the restaurant "emil's" with a terrace overlooking Spandauer Lake, enjoy a breakfast buffet and, with half board, a 3-course dinner or buffet in the evening. The hotel also features the "La Havanita" bar, offering a selection of snacks and an extensive cocktail menu. A rooftop bar is available on the terrace during the summer. Vegetarian and Ayurvedic cuisine are available, with gluten-free and dietary options upon request.

Relax at the centrovital SPA & Sportclub (open daily, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.) across approximately 3,500 sqm featuring a water world with an indoor pool (about 25 m, approx. 88°F, also therapy pool) and a whirlpool, as well as a sauna area with sensorial showers, Ottoman steam bath, Finnish dry cabin, organic sauna, herbal inhalation rock, ice igloo (about 37-41°F) and a log cabin sauna on the rooftop terrace. Varied infusions are offered hourly. Additionally, relaxation rooms are available.

Beauty

The centrovital Day SPA (open daily) offers classic cosmetic treatments such as anti-aging treatments, manicures and pedicures, as well as back, head, face, and full-body massages, Lomi Lomi Nui, and body treatments like scrubs and wraps. Tea is served with the treatments.

Ayurveda Center

The holistic approach of Ayurveda restores balance to body, mind, and soul. A wide range of Ayurvedic massages is available.

Therapy area

Opposite the hotel, there is a rehabilitation and therapy center. The ZAR Spandau is accredited by all cost carriers as a day clinic for rehabilitation and aftercare. The integrated practices for physiotherapy and occupational therapy complete the range of services. Prescriptions for physiotherapy and occupational therapy can be redeemed on site.

A nice hotel with sauna, swimming pool and fitness area. The room was cozy and modern. The routes to the city center of Berlin are easily accessible by bus and train, but you have to be familiar with local transport.
