Day 1: Cochin:
Reception at Cochin Airport & transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city tour including the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and Santa Cruz Basilica. Evening traditional Kathakali dance performance. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin - Periyar:
Drive to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its elephants and tigers. Boat trip on Periyar Lake. Overnight in Periyar.

Day 3: Periyar - Madurai (Tamil Nadu):
Drive to Madurai. City tour including Thirumalai Nayak Palace & Sree Meenakshi Temple, and evening temple ceremony. Overnight in Madurai.

Day 4: Madurai - Kanyakumari:
Drive to the southern tip of the Indian mainland where the Arabian Sea meets the Indian Ocean. Visit the southernmost temple of India - Kanyakumari, renowned for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Overnight in Kanyakumari.

Day 5: Kanyakumari - Kovalam:
Continue to Kovalam to your Ayurveda resort. En route, visit the Suchindram Temple and the Padmanabhapuram Palace. Alternatively, direct transfer to Trivandrum Airport.

Not included: personal expenses e.g., tips, photo and filming permissions, expenses for drinks or souvenirs.

Travel planning tip: If your subsequent stay is at an Ayurveda hotel in northern Kerala or further away, the last stop at Kanyakumari will be replaced by Munnar for logistical reasons.
