The Karos Spa is a good choice when it comes to treatments. The buffet food is also varied and tasty. Everyone can find something to suit their taste. It is a little annoying when they start to clear one half of the buffet at 9:45. ( Once the service wanted to dispose of my breakfast at 9.50.... ) The Superior Plus rooms leave nothing to be desired, even if the mini balcony of about 1 square meter was "wrested" from the rest of the room....In contrast to other guests, I find it good in terms of sustainability that the rooms are only cleaned on request and towels are not constantly changed. If you want that, you have to pay for it. I don't recommend people who are sensitive to noise to choose the high season in summer, when there are lots and lots of children around. It was fine in September, as there were no more vacations in Hungary. I only give it 4 stars because there is only one thermal water pool and you can only find peace and quiet there. The bubble pool was always overcrowded and even there the toddlers ran around with water wings and dived between the bathers. What really detracted from my relaxing experience was the fact that my room was on the 5th floor, i.e. the top floor, and there was no mention of the fact that repair work was being carried out right up there (probably on the roof), i.e. from 8 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with virtually constant drilling, hammering etc. The hotel was very busy. They probably think that spa guests are least likely to be in their rooms during this time because of the treatments..... And another piece of advice: if you have back and/or leg problems, it's better to book a room with a shower. Showering in the bathtub can easily cause problems.

In a large, bright hotel with a spacious pool area, good food and friendly, helpful spa department, it was easy for us to recover well.
