Location & Surroundings

On the Polish Baltic coast, about 30 km away from the town of Sławno (German: Schlawe), lies the tranquil seaside resort Darłówko. The unique microclimate, influenced by the iodine-rich sea air and the aromatic oils of the surrounding forests, supports the treatment of numerous ailments. The extensive dunes invite for long walks.

All meals are served buffet style and there is also an à la carte restaurant for those who prefer individual choice. For special dietary needs, vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free, and diet options are available for a fee. Additionally, the hotel offers a café with a terrace (weather-dependent) and a lobby bar.

Wellness & Spa

The Bernstein SPA spans approximately 400 square metres and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It features two indoor pools, both indoor and outdoor whirlpools, as well as a steam bath. Additionally, the spa offers a wide range of wellness and beauty treatments, including scrubs, massages, facial treatments, anti-aging treatments, as well as manicures and pedicures. A hair salon and a gym are also available. For extra relaxation options, there is a Finnish sauna and a solarium, which are available for a fee.

Health & Treatments

From Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), a variety of treatments such as massages, lymphatic drainage, inhalation, ultrasound, as well as mud and peat packs are available for booking. Additionally, there is a salt cave for therapeutic purposes.

Indications: Diseases of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, obesity, and rheumatic complaints.

Free Time

The hotel features an in-house club with a bowling alley and billiard tables to entertain guests. There is a diverse entertainment programme every week, including dance nights, bowling tournaments, bingo sessions, and movie nights.

After tormenting colds, the change of air, the Baltic Sea, the many treatments and the carefree package at the Hotel Lidia did us the world of good. The surrounding area was still in hibernation, which we found rather relaxing. This was our first but by no means our last stay at this spa hotel. The treatments were great and of better quality than in the larger resorts on the Polish Baltic Sea.

With its healing therapies, the Hotel Lidia offers a real respite from everyday life and illness. The spa is elegant and inviting with beautiful soothing music. The staff - both therapists and service - are very quick, very attentive, helpful and friendly as well as quick and competent. I was physically very unwell (shortness of breath, pain in my body, exhaustion, weakness). Thanks to the stay by the sea, the therapeutic treatments (two weeks of daily aqua aerobics, inhalation, mud packs, massage) and the very good food, I was able to recover well and recharge my batteries. My breathing and weakness improved a lot. Before the healing therapy, I could barely walk 20 steps, hardly move, couldn't bend down and couldn't put on my own socks, shoes and trousers. After two weeks of healing therapy, I was able to do all this myself again - without any lack of air - and my walking radius increased to a two-kilometre walk on the beach, shopping or sightseeing. Breakfast and dinner were a delight in terms of choice and quality. The hotel is elegant, cozy, inviting with different areas to hang out. The proximity to the beach is a great help - this encourages you to make the journey to walk on the beach and experience the sea. The room was spacious, welcoming, clean and had a fridge and kettle. The shower was very large and comfortable for those in pain. There are very good shopping facilities in Koszalin and beautiful excursion destinations with a fine sandy beach and harbor with pirate ships for the weekend (Dabki, Mielno, Ustka).

The spa vacation has given me a lot of courage to face life again

I have a lot of energy again and am much more mobile after the great massages and treatments. My room had a cozy decor with a balcony and the food was very varied and tasty.
