Throughout the area, from the road from Mestre to Treviso, along the Brenta River to the hills of Treviso, Vicenza, and the Euganean Hills, over 4000 Venetian villas are scattered, 200 of which are open for visits. A perfect starting point to explore the beauty and cultural wealth of Italy.

Location & Surroundings

Abano Terme, one of the most important and oldest spa treatment centres in Europe, is located in a charming landscape at the foot of the Euganean Hills in the heart of Veneto. The area invites you to hike, cycle, and discover medieval villages, walled cities, and Venetian villas. The Romans came here 2000 years ago for the pain-relieving mud treatments based on thermal water and mud. Today, the centre is dominated by the pedestrian zone with many shops, eateries, and beautiful historic buildings, all surrounded by green spaces and parks.

Dining & Leisure

The "Bristol Tradizione" menu offers an exquisite selection of dishes from Venetian and classic Italian cuisine. Complementing this, the hotel's unique "B.Well" concept presents healthy dishes that ensure a balanced intake of nutrients and calories. Guests are greeted each morning by a lavish breakfast buffet featuring homemade bread and a live cooking station for crepes and egg dishes. The half board includes a 4-course choice menu for lunch or dinner, complete with a fresh salad buffet. Special dietary needs, such as low-calorie, vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, and diet meals, are also catered for. The summer restaurant enchants with its garden-view terrace. A spacious terrace is also located at the breakfast room. Dance evenings and events provide great entertainment. An internet terminal, a lobby, and a pool bar are available for use. The hotel's own pastry shop delights with sweet treats.

More about the B.Well concept: B.Well offers guests nutritionally healthy, low-calorie, and balanced menus. Choosing the B.Well menu ensures healthy eating, i.e., following a diet aimed at achieving optimal health and preventing cardiovascular and cancer diseases. Each B.Well menu consists of three or four courses and ensures a balance of animal and plant proteins, the avoidance of plant fats, and the enjoyment of whole grains and at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables per day. Regional ingredients with a guaranteed origin are used, predominantly organic products and plant fats and raw sugar. Healthy cooking methods, such as cooking at low temperatures, are applied.

Wellness & Spa

Discover an oasis of relaxation and well-being, boasting an impressive array of aquatic worlds and a splendid spa area. Immerse yourself in the soothing warmth of four spacious pools, including an indoor thermal pool that seamlessly transitions into an outdoor thermal pool. Enjoy the ambiance of the large outdoor thermal pool (about 86-90°F), picturesquely set amidst a beautifully landscaped garden, or relax in the physiotherapeutic thermal pool. For an extra dose of relaxation, the new "Hydrorelax" outdoor thermal pool is equipped with eight underwater loungers, tubs, and loungers featuring air-pressure massage functions, water jets for neck massages, and a Kneipp and vein course. Adjacent to a scenic pine grove, a freshwater outdoor pool and a whirlpool invite you to linger and unwind. The newly designed spa area offers a multitude of recuperation options: a Finnish sauna with colour and music therapy (about 176-212°F), a Mediterranean sauna (about 140-212°F), a steam bath (about 113-118°F), an ice waterfall, sensorial showers, and a thermal pool (about 95°F) with underwater massage and counter-current system, ideal for individual kinesiotherapy sessions. A salt room with relaxation loungers completes the offering for your ultimate relaxation.

Medical Spa

Maison B.B. – a centre for health and wellbeing, open daily. Here, guests can access a doctor-led department for classic thermal and mud therapies, available Monday to Saturday, as well as a hydrotherapy centre. A team of specialists employs modern technologies to offer a wide range of treatments, including physiotherapeutic rehabilitation, inhalation therapy, physio-kinesiotherapy, Tecar therapy, pain management, medical wellness, massages, and osteopathy. The mud and inhalation therapies for sinusitis are particularly noteworthy.

A gym equipped with Technogym® cardio and strength equipment is available for guests. For a fee, a personal trainer can be hired. The offerings are complemented by exercises to enhance resilience, Pilates, back school, aerobics, and aqua gym in thermal water. The most advanced equipment for cosmetic facial and body treatments, as well as aesthetic and remise en forme programmes, complete the wellness offerings.

A highlight is the mud therapy, particularly prevalent in the Euganean Basin. The carefully prepared mud, consisting of thermal water, clay, humus, hyperthermal water rich in salts, iodine, bromine, and microalgae, offers numerous health benefits. It provides pain relief, reduces inflammation, detoxifies, and cleanses the skin. Additionally, it stimulates endorphin production, activates the immune system, and promotes vasodilation for improved circulation.

Free Time

The hotel features a tennis court and a bocce court for sporting activities. Golf enthusiasts will delight in the hotel's park driving range, complete with a putting green, a bunker, and a 70-metre par-3 hole. For exploration on two wheels, bicycle rental is available.
