The Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa is located within walking distance to the world's largest natural thermal lake, nestled in a sprawling 17-hectare nature park. A health and wellness resort that offers total comfort and relaxation!

Dining & Leisure

A perfect day begins with a splendid breakfast buffet complete with champagne at the Corvinus Restaurant. The special and varied evening buffet featuring national and international cuisine is a favourite. Vegetarian dishes are naturally available at the buffet, and live cooking is also occasionally featured. A candlelit gala dinner is available for a fee.

Special dietary requests for allergies, sensitivities, or preferences for organic or vegan food are happily accommodated for a fee, should you not find what you need on the buffet table. The breakfast selection includes individually wrapped gluten-free baked goods, with gluten-free bread available upon request. Lactose-free dairy products are available (soy, rice, almond, peanut drink, natural yoghurt, and flavoured yoghurts).

Step into the enchanting world of Lotus Spa, featuring a wellness area of approximately 2,600 sqm, open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The indoor and outdoor pools (about 31°C) are connected by a swimming channel. Healing water pool (about 36-38°C), meditation pool, and relaxation bath with panoramic windows (each about 33-34°C). Whirlpool, bubble loungers, water jets, and shoulder showers. Sauna area (from age 12) includes Finnish sauna, garden sauna, laconium, steam bath, aroma-light therapy, Kneipp path, sensorial showers, and infrared cabins. For a fee: Dead Sea salt grotto with various light effects and music - at 22°C and 45% humidity, minerals and trace elements are absorbed through the skin and respiratory tract. In the icy cold of the cryosauna, metabolism is stimulated and the immune system is boosted in 2-3 minutes. The goal of extreme cold therapy is to support health, metabolism, diet, and regeneration. Another aim of is to reduce pain, inflammation, swelling, bruises, allergies, and cellulite.

At the Lotus Spa Beauty Spa (open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.), skin, soul, and body are pampered. Classic and Far Eastern massages, Yumeiho, laser and mesotherapy. Exclusively at Lotus Spa in Hévíz: Ultratone Future Pro - tailored facial and body treatments. The range includes many individual beauty systems and treatments targeting the causes and effects of ageing signs. Ayurvedic treatments. Products from Forlie, L'Oréal, Gold, Selvert Thermal, and Christian Breton: luxury facial treatment for anti-wrinkle, skin tightening, and rejuvenation with precious caviar, diamond dust, and gold! Health & Treatments

Specialist in rheumatology and physiotherapists. Utilisation of traditional, locally-sourced remedies (thermal water, medicinal mud) in the form of packs and baths. Additionally, ultrasound, oxygen therapy, medical baths, physiotherapy and electrotherapy, and therapeutic massages, (approx. 300 sqm, daily, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.).

This vacation gave us the relaxation we were looking for.

Hotel

The Lotus thermal baths hotel is located far from the main road but Heviz is still within 15 minutes walking distance. The hotel is basically very stylish and clean and work is being done every day on the overall condition. Our room with terrace was on the 4th floor. It was very spacious and clean and tastefully furnished and complemented the overall impression of a luxury hotel. The daily breakfast and dinner were of a high international average and personal wishes for breakfast or dinner were also quickly fulfilled by the kitchen team. Thus, the catering left nothing to be desired and everything can be rated as "tip-top". The only disadvantage and shortcoming we found in the hotel bar! First I would like to talk about the evening entertainment program. These are solo entertainers who stubbornly play and keep to their repertoire. This means that after the second performance you already know what to expect and it gets boring. One evening there was an Elvis impersonator as a guest and this evening was very atmospheric and entertaining. The second point is the cocktails from the bar. After 2 drinks with striking qualitative differences and deficiencies I wanted to "kill" the bartender but had to realize that there was no bartender at all. The service staff have to mix the drinks themselves and with 4-5 waiters and waitresses, they stand on each other's feet behind the bar and have to wait for their tools. This unnecessarily prolongs the waiting time and you can taste and see the lack of care in the drinks. The hotel management should take action and organize 2 bartenders who always present the drinks in consistent quality and appearance and relieve the sometimes stressed waiters.

Service

The entire hotel team is very friendly and helpful. Language differences are overcome with a wink of friendliness and sign language.

Treatments and programs were not noticed, but from what we heard and observed, people were very happy with them

All the food at the extensive buffet was warm and extremely tasty!

Wellness area

We did not use the healing therapy and spa. The only thing was the pool, the cleanliness of which deteriorated considerably in the second week. However, this was due to the hotel guests, who thought they had to use the pool after 8 p.m. despite being told to do so. As the cleaning manager in charge, I would not work overtime. If you block the pool and don't have it cleaned, you have to swim in the same water the next day. After the second week, the contamination from skin and scraps of sun cream and oils, as well as soil and grasses that had entered the pool were very visible at the bottom and in suspension and on the surface. It was only provisionally rechlorinated and you could smell it very strongly.
