Located in the heart of the Harz Selke Valley, in an idyllic setting, you'll find the Morada Hotel Alexisbad. This spa town is part of the recreational area around Harzgerode (approx. 4 km away). The charming valley, through which the Selke River winds, is among the most picturesque landscapes of the Harz Mountains, offering numerous forested slopes for wonderful hiking and walking opportunities.

For those seeking even more relaxation, there are three different saunas available for a fee (bio-sauna, 70°C sauna, and 90°C sauna), followed by unwinding in the spacious relaxation room. A visit to the spa area "MORADA WaldOase" completes the offering with indulgent treatments. Here, the team offers massages, beauty treatments, and beauty rituals for a fee.

Free Time

Many interesting attractions, such as Quedlinburg with its cathedral treasure or a show mine, are within easy reach for excursions. A particular highlight, not only for railway enthusiasts, is the historic Selke Valley Railway, the oldest narrow-gauge railway in the Harz Mountains. But also, the magnificent view from the 1,142 m high Brocken and a ride on Germany's unique panorama glass-bottom cable car in Thale, at the famous Hexentanzplatz, are an experience.

The hotel offers a 2-lane micro-bowling alley for young and old, as well as table tennis for entertainment. In the surrounding area, you'll find diverse hiking opportunities and mountain bike trails. equipment and mountain bike rental are available for a fee from local providers. The hotel is beautifully situated in the forest. You can see the trees from the swimming pool.
