The spa town of Zwiesel is the perfect starting point for excursions, hikes, and bike rides into the Bavarian Forest National Park. Due to its centuries-old tradition of glassblowing, Zwiesel is also known as the "City of Glass".

Start your day in the main restaurant, featuring a south-facing terrace with a stunning view over the Zwiesel Valley, enjoying a varied breakfast available from 7 to 11 a.m. Fresh bread and rolls, cereals, and egg dishes await you. In the evening, our kitchen team delights you with a seasonal 4-course choice menu (also available as a buffet) as part of the half board, where classic German ingredients meet modern influences and regional, seasonal specialties. The elegant hotel bar (open Sun-Thurs until 10 p.m., Fri-Sat until midnight) with its cosy armchairs, leather sofas, open fireplace, and soft music, provides a relaxing end to your day. On fine evenings, savour an aperitif, a glass of Prosecco, or selected spirits at sunset on the terrace overlooking nature. For excursions, the hotel can prepare a balanced packed lunch for a fee upon request, with orders accepted until 8 p.m. the previous evening.

Wellness & Spa

3000m² spa area (open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.) with a heated indoor pool (approx. 30°C, open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.), overlooking the greenery, various saunas (e.g., Finnish sauna at 90°C), steam bath (50°C), relaxation rooms, and a sunbathing lawn. Vital Bar with tea, water, and healthy delicacies. Unique sauna village (large sauna: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., small sauna: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.) nestled in the hotel's own forest with various saunas and relaxation spots (with private access via the hotel's sun terrace, weather-dependent). Indulge in the treatment rooms with massages (e.g., Ayurvedic massages and deep back treatments) and cosmetic treatments. The modern gym (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.) motivates with high-quality fitness equipment and a fantastic view of the Zwieseler valley. The sauna in the main building is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Whether it's extensive hiking, challenging mountain bike tours, or , every season offers abundant opportunities for outdoor activities. In winter, enjoy winter hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledding, ice skating, and curling. Ski enthusiasts have three winter sports areas to choose from in the region: the ski resort at Großer Arber, the sports and leisure area Glasberg, and the Rabenstein ski resort. With the National Park Card, guests can access numerous offers such as ski buses or ski lifts at reduced rates or sometimes for free.

Tennis enthusiasts will enjoy free access to the courts of the Tennis Club Zwiesel (5 minutes by car). No reservation is required until 4 p.m., allowing for spontaneous matches.

The hotel has a very nice location. great view of the Zwiesel valley. our room had this view(almost all rooms). A beautiful indoor pool, with sauna, etc. has invited to swim. For breakfast a very great and good buffet. The staff has tried to fulfill every wish.
