Samahita Retreat is just great, I had a beachfront bungalow on the beach overlooking the sea and could sleep with the sound of the sea. The windows and doors are fitted with fly screens. A ceiling fan provides additional air circulation. The facilities also included air conditioning, diffuser, fridge, kettle, tea and dried ginger, clothes horse, hairdryer, flashlight and an umbrella, which I didn't need. The rain shower was wonderful with great care products (shower gel, conditioner shampoo and soap). The retreat offers plenty of space to relax and various places to sit with a view of the sea or the meditation garden. The 2 pools were also great, but I rarely used them as I preferred the sea, which is sometimes tide-dependent with low water levels up to the reef, but still wonderful for "floating" splashing around or drifting. Swimming is also possible when the tide is high. The food was excellent, the staff super nice and always available if there was a question or other request. I received a homemade cake for my birthday, including a serenade, which I thought was very sweet. I thought the training sessions, yoga, breathing exercises, meditation and workout were great and the changing trainers always gave me a professional impression. There were often several trainers present to correct the participants' posture. I also found this very appealing and the fact that the trainers changed so that you could compare the exercises for yourself and take good inspiration home with you. I have to mention, however, that I am a beginner and therefore have no comparisons with other retreats or training sessions. It was never boring or too much and I will miss this place. I will definitely be back, Samahita Retreat exceeded my expectations and I am happy to have found this place.
