The Spa Hotel Dr. Petak (non-smoking) is quietly situated directly at the forest park - on the edge of the spa park, about a 5-minute walk to the centre near the healing springs. The main building and pavilion are connected by a conservatory.

Franzensbad (Františkovy Lázně), the smallest spa town in the West Bohemian spa triangle with its extensive, park-like forest areas, pleasant climate, and numerous healing springs, provides excellent conditions for healthy relaxation and your spa stay.

All meals are served in the dedicated dining room. Breakfast features both cold and hot buffet options, including a cereal corner. Lunch and dinner offer a choice of two dishes, soup, fruit, salad buffet, and dessert. Dietary options are available (for a fee of approximately €4.50/day). The pavilion is connected to the main building by a conservatory, which is available for use at no extra charge. The conservatory serves as a café with Wi-Fi available throughout the spa hotel.

In the idyllic hotel garden, a seasonally open, heated outdoor pool awaits you, offering delightful swimming pleasure. Additionally, the indoor pool with a counter-current system - open daily from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. - invites you to a vigorous swimming experience, where you can also participate in aqua aerobics classes. These provide a gentle way to enhance strength and flexibility while enjoying the refreshing water. For particularly soothing relaxation, the salt cave revitalizes the body and respiratory system with its healthy microclimate. Complementing this, the infrared sauna offers gentle warmth that penetrates deep into the muscles, significantly enhancing well-being.

Modern therapy department (Mon-Sat, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.) for medical examinations and treatments under one roof, spa doctor, 24-hour nursing service, and our own "Stephanie" mineral spring on-site. Natural healing resources from Franzensbad include peat (sulphur- and iron-rich), mineral water (high in CO2), and natural gas. Treatments include classic, underwater, aroma, hot stone, and reflexology massages, peat, pearl, and carbonic acid baths, peat and paraffin wraps, inhalations, medical gas injections, oxygen therapy, lymphatic drainage, ultrasound, magnetic and electrotherapy, and therapeutic exercise. Additional charges apply for Thai, lava stone, and chocolate massages, acupuncture. Aesthetic surgery available. Indications: musculoskeletal disorders, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases. State-certified therapy facility. Medical report available for a fee of approximately €5 (approx. UK £4 / USD $6).
