Diabetes
This review article summarizes the research on the use of Ayurvedic therapies for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
Ayurveda is slowly gaining recognition for its holistic and natural approach to treating chronic conditions such as diabetes. The approach to treating diabetes in modern medicine is very different from Ayurveda, as Ayurveda tries to see the person as a whole with all their functions, rather than just treating the diabetes.
Introducing Ayurveda as a complementary therapy to modern diabetes treatment can offer patients better long-term results as Ayurveda combines lifestyle changes with natural supplements.
