Art Deco Wolker

The rooms were very spacious. We found it very pleasant that the toilet was separate from the bathroom. The room was centrally located in the spa district. We used the walks to and from the main house (breakfast + dinner) to drink spring water and go for a walk.

The staff at reception and in the dining rooms were always friendly, helpful and courteous.

There was a large selection of food, so you could always find something to suit your taste. The food was always freshly replenished. The fresh fruit was great, but the scrambled eggs could be improved. Sometimes it tasted a bit artificial.

We did not take advantage of the offer. On the day of arrival we (5 people) were told to report to the nurse immediately. After 45 minutes of waiting, one person was allowed to register. The other 4 were sent away (after work?) and were told to report back the next morning. So the next morning we went back to the registration desk and at 8.00 a.m. we met a lot of people who had the same request. Estimated waiting time at least 1 hour. So we decided to forgo the treatments in favor of exploring the sights of Karlovy Vary. In hindsight, the decision was great for us as we saw a lot. Conclusion: Can you optimize the registration for the treatments? We had very good experience of this in Świnoujście.

It was neat, clean, nice ambience.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, most of all the service staff at dinner should be praised, always friendly, helpful and so hardworking, super chef, thank you for the many culinary delights and the eye also ate, beautifully presented.

Salt cave... see above

Super food, large selection, very varied.

Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to use the sauna as it wasn't in line with the therapeutic treatments, which I thought was a shame as I was actually looking forward to it. But if that's what the doctor orders, that's just the way it is. I had a few problems with the salt cave. I came to the Astoria Hotel from outside, fully clothed and with street shoes and didn't know where to sign in on the 5th floor, that I was there and I also didn't know how long I should stay in there and where to undress... it was a bit opaque...

Clean and very elegant, new, modern but not without losing the charm. Perfect location. My highlight: the tea lounge.

Grandiose breakfast buffet. Good dinner, very much to German taste, but vegetarian options tend to be fewer.
