Just a few steps through the gently swaying dune grass and a picturesque coastal forest separate you from the sea. Shopping facilities and a bicycle rental are conveniently reachable within a few minutes' walk.
Also, the most beautiful highlights of Rügen are right nearby: Discover the impressive Colossus of Prora with its documentation centre, enjoy spectacular views from the treetop walk, stroll along the historic pier in Sellin, or experience the famous chalk cliffs at Königsstuhl. The mysterious flint fields also offer a special natural experience.
Arrival is also comfortable: The train station is only about 500 meters away, and you can easily reach the island by car via the B96.

At our in-house restaurant "Alpine Cuisine at Mariandl", an extraordinary culinary journey awaits you, where authentic Bavarian cuisine meets the fresh lightness of the Baltic Sea. Look forward to handmade cheese spaetzle, crispy pork knuckles, and exquisite game dishes as well as fresh fish, Mediterranean starters, and creative vegetarian delights, all freshly prepared and served in a rustic and cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The perfect holiday day begins with a rich breakfast buffet (daily 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.): crispy bread, fresh juices, egg variations, homemade specialties, seasonal fruits, and a selection of regional sausage and cheese specialties ensure a delightful start to the day.
In the afternoon, the café "Edelweiss" and the "BaristaBar" (12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.) invite you to linger with homemade cakes and aromatic coffee specialties.
A special highlight is the seasonally open Skybar "Mountain Station": Enjoy creative cocktails and a spectacular panoramic view over the Baltic Sea, perfect for winding down the day.

Step into a world of relaxation at Mariandl am Meer, where approximately 750 sqm of wellness area invites you to float, swim, and breathe deeply. It's the perfect place to harmonise body and mind.
Enjoy a Finnish sauna with temperatures up to 90°C and a stunning view of the pine forest, a soothing sanarium (bio-sauna, 60°C), and a relaxing steam bath (45°C). Access to the entire sauna area is complimentary for guests. A stylish relaxation room and cosy sunbathing lawns provide the ideal setting for relaxed breaks between sauna sessions.
At MariandlSPA, a diverse pampering programme awaits you, from back, partial, and full-body massages to foot, head, and facial massages, as well as cosmetic treatments, body wraps, scrubs, and relaxing baths.
A special highlight is the pampering ritual: a harmonious combination of invigorating scrub, soothing bath, and nourishing body wrap for a completely renewed sense of body wellness.
Treatments are available Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and by appointment outside regular hours upon request.

The hotel's own sports field features beach volleyball, beach soccer, and badminton for a sporty variety. The necessary equipment can be easily borrowed from the reception against a deposit.

The pool area is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
