The multi-award-winning Neeleshwar Hermitage is an oasis of tranquillity surrounded by a palm grove, separated from the long sandy beach by only a small lagoon. A special focus here is on the beauty of simplicity: being conscious, gaining clarity, sleeping well, and having time for oneself. Relax in a hammock, explore ancient temples, and discover the secrets of Keralan cuisine! The non-smoking resort's strong commitment to sustainability is notable, such as the use of solar cells, recycling, and avoiding plastic bottles. Water is prepared through reverse osmosis in copper pots and served exclusively in glass bottles.

In "Annapurna", enjoy vegetarian dishes with a garden view according to Ayurvedic teachings. "Meenakshi" is located on the beach and serves freshly caught fish for an additional charge. Annapurna Bar in the main restaurant and Varuna Bar by the pool.
Ayurveda Center
Experience the Ayurveda culture at the Ayurveda Spa "Priya" (Sanskrit for "beloved") with Ayurvedic massages, meditation, and Hatha Yoga. The five treatment rooms, arranged around a courtyard, cater to your individual needs. Following a comprehensive consultation with one of the Ayurveda doctors, available throughout the day, your personal treatment plan will be established. The herbs for the treatments and the preparations used are from our own organic cultivation. Yoga and meditation are available for a fee (approx. €53 (approx. UK £46 / USD $57)) on the beach.
Yoga at Neeleshwar Hermitage
Yoga is not only seen as physical exercise but as training for body, mind, and soul. At Neeleshwar Hermitage, experienced gurus with training from the Swami Vivekananda Yoga University and other prestigious institutions teach Hatha Yoga. Yoga private lesson approx. INR 1800 (approx. 21€).

Hotel rooms at a glance
18 cottages in Malabar style are spread across the property. The roofs are traditionally thatched, and the interior is bright, friendly, and artistically designed with wood. The cottages are equipped with bath/shower/WC, air conditioning, fan, mosquito net, iPod station, safe, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, bathrobe, private terrace with sun loungers, and depending on the location, views of the garden, the sea, or the pool. SGLs are DBLs for single use.

One visit with the doctor who was going on vacation for three weeks and was only replaced the day we left. Very short treatments .... one and only 45 min per day !! No care approndis: cleaning the eyes, nostrils etc ..... This is not a center but a hotel that only makes a few massages !!! Overall, it is a real paradise, far from everything ... the cottage with the private pool was simply a real treat. The staff were perfect ... Really the best !! And the big plus was the food ... We have never eaten as well, for two weeks without not a single redundancy in the dishes, concocted masterfully !!!! A true discovery of the cuisine of Kerala, which we know yet well ... Fresh fruit juices and tea (the tulsi) could punctuate our days and thus make this stay very pleasant. Conclusion: we love the hotel and its services but not terrible or bad enough for an ayurvedic treatment and unfortunately, we came for this ...
