This study from 2022 investigated the effectiveness of the Ayuraksha Kit(ARK), a combination of four Ayurvedic remedies, for the prevention of COVID-19 in India. The study included 153,047 participants in various states. One group received the ARC along with the usual COVID-19 prevention measures, while the other group received only the standard measures.
The ARC group showed a significantly higher rate of participants who reported not having COVID-19. Although there were more symptomatic cases in the ARC group, fewer hospitalizations were required. The general well-being of the ARC group improved and the medication was well tolerated.
The conclusion was that the Ayuraksha kit can be used to improve general well-being and as a prophylaxis against COVID-19.
