Monti Spa Hotel located in the centre of the spa town, consists of two buildings with a direct connection (50 m).
Location & Surroundings
Franzensbad (Františkovy Lázně) is located in the western foothills of Bohemia, near the town of Cheb. An idyllic small town meets picturesque nature and centuries-old healing springs. Extensive therapy parks and a tranquil atmosphere provide the perfect foundation for a successful treatment and relaxation.
Dining & Leisure
Modern dining room, breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner menu choices. Also diet, diabetic, slimming, bland, or vegetarian, lactose- and gluten-free dishes. Internet corner. Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. New café in the hotel lobby and a barbecue area in the garden.
Wellness & Spa
The indoor pool (15 x 7.5 m, 28–30°C) is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering a perfect relaxation spot. In the garden, during summer, enjoy the heated outdoor saltwater pool (approx. 5 x 10 m, approx. 29°C). Sauna, infrared sauna, and steam bath are available for a fee of approximately €11 (approx. UK £10 / USD $12) for 2 hours. The experience is complemented by soothing relaxation treatments.
Health & Treatments
Therapy and Health Services: Available Monday to Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., medically supervised treatments utilise Franzensbad's natural remedies: CO₂-rich mineral water, sulphur- and iron-rich peat, and natural carbon dioxide gas. A 24-hour nursing service, in-house doctors, and medical readiness ensure your safety.
The therapy offerings include carbon dioxide baths, peat packs, natural gas injections, physiotherapy, exercise baths, gymnastics, electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, ultrasound therapy, gas wraps, inhalations, massages, paraffin packs, mechanical lymph drainage, and light therapy.
Additional treatments (for a fee) include manual lymph drainage, taping, laser treatments, various massages, body wraps, oxygen and cold therapy.
In the beauty area, from Monday to Friday, services include hairdressing, cosmetics, manicures, and pedicures.
Free Time
Enjoy relaxing moments on the sun terrace with loungers or in the well-maintained garden and conservatory. For active guests, bike rental, Nordic walking, golf, billiards, and a tennis court are available.

The accommodation in the very spacious and bright comfort room was very good. The treatments were plentiful, the doctor was flexible and finally the mud obtained there was available in packs for the back and joints. The food was good in my opinion (there were also other reviews!), there was often fish, a lot of chicken and mock meat, but always a starter or dessert and lots of fruit. So we were basically quite happy with Monti Spa and its central location and felt comfortable there.
